With over 20 years’ experience across environmental consulting, public sector bodies, NGOs and impact-focused enterprises, Dan brings a rare blend of strategic leadership, scientific rigour and practical transformation expertise.

A Chartered Environmentalist and currently an Associate Director within a multi-company environment group, Dan has led digital transformation programmes, developed innovation strategies, built high-performing technical teams, and guided organisations through complex change. Leadership spans biodiversity strategy, digital product development, open-source technology adoption, data-driven decision-making and organisational capability building.

As founder of Digital Ecology and former Chief Ecologist at Map Impact, he advised consultancies, local authorities, NGOs, and environmental enterprises on embedding innovation, improving operational efficiency, and scaling impact.
